Developed nearly a century ago in 1929, it stands as Oceanside’s oldest park. Originally named Parnassus Circle, the park was renamed in 1946 in honor of John “Buddy” Todd, the first Oceanside resident to lose his life in World War II.
Spanning 19 acres, Buddy Todd Park offers panoramic views, a multi-purpose field, picnic areas, restroom facilities, children’s playgrounds, and beautifully crafted walking paths. It’s a place where history and natural beauty converge, creating a serene environment for relaxation and exploration.
