Miramar Lake in the Scripps Ranch community of San Diego, completed in 1960, offers a serene setting for water activities and Pokémon Go adventures! This reservoir is a popular spot for various water activities, including boating, canoeing, kayaking, and float tubing, as well as fishing.
The lake’s amenities include water fountains, picnic tables, designated barbecue areas, and restrooms conveniently located throughout. Additionally, it’s a dog-friendly location, so you can enjoy the beauty of Miramar Lake with your leashed canine companions.
Additional Notes from Local Trainers.
The count of PokéStops and Gyms excludes those outside the main 5-mile path or Lake View Park, as many are too distant from the central trail. The park features paved roads, ideal for walking, but remain alert for cars, bikes, and the winding roads. Ample restrooms and resting spots are available, and do be sure to bring water!
Nest spawns here are more frequent than in other parks, although they can be less prominent during special events.

TBD
Averaged based on trainer reports for this location. Weather boost conditions and active events may affect nest spawn rates. Larger nests that are driveable, will result in higher spawn rates. For best results, keep moving to trigger spawn points as spawn cycles renew. You can submit data here.
