Los Jilgueros is a beautiful 46 acre preserve near the heart of Fallbrook with a variety of looping trails totaling over 2 miles through field & riparian forest. Ponds, wetland areas, and groves of mature trees offer wonderful bird watching opportunities. This preserve was the first property acquired by FLC in 1990. Originally orchard and farm land, old farming equipment can be spotted in various locations around the preserve.
Notes:
Free parking. No restrooms available. Best spots include the north side where you can spin 5 PokéStops and 1 Gym from one spot, and the parking lot where you’ll find 2 Gyms in close proximity.
The full park is 46-acres. The North and South portions size is currently approximated at 23-acres each.
